Hi again, as the system slowly starts growing using the most recent development snapshot, I seem to run into another problem: When I enable POSIX message queues in the kernel, the kernel does not boot any more.
(I also used message queues in the 2.6.17-uc0 kernel with the system call muxer copied from 2.6.20 or so, but it also seemed instable - one more reason for me to switch to the new release, but does it really help?) I am not bound to use message queues, but my previous attempts to use pthreads were at least as desastrous: the first call to pthread_create simply locked up the process, and in the new release I did not yet manage to compile threaddemos... A hint about somebody else's experience would be welcome in this case.
