Threads has a history of problems on uClinux, and it may well
be broken for you.

Could you elaborate on this ?
I am about to port a large project that heavily uses threads. Do I need
to reconsider the use of Linux ?
As of 2.6 we have a Posix threads representation in the Kernel (NPTL).
This should have changed the behavior of threads.
