Hi all, We are developing a board based on the STR710 running under linux. For our requirements, we have considered that maybe in the future we will have to increase the ram amount.
The EMI of the STR710 has memory banks of 16 MB each...but they don't have continous addresses. They are separated each other by a gap of 16 MB. I've been checking the kernel configuration and there is a DRAM_BASE parameter and a DRAM_SIZE parameter. I cannot set the DRAM_SIZE in 32MB as the banks are separated (and some of the addressable memory will fall into void). Does anybody knows how to configure uClinux for this case? Otherwise, is possible any other "trick"?
