hello, you need libssl. and you need openssl. but you must precompile your openssl on your pc. the net-snmp cconfigure-skript looks for a compiled openssl-version.

I have successfully gotten the ssl library to compile and it works fine with BOA. Also I have been able to get openssl to compile and do in fact have a working openssl binary that I can use. Correct me if I am wrong but I think that I have to enable the net-snmp "with openssl" option in order to use both the auth and priv options of net-snmp v3. When I try to compile now I get this error from net-snmp: "checking for authentication support... configure: error: Asked to use OpenSSL but I couldn't find it." Does anyone know how to go about fixing this?
