good evening,
I am in the course of complier a core embedded on my distrubition of linux
before starting is what it is better of complier a very short core
linux-2.0.38.tar.gz
or to compile a core uclinux?

thereafter,

I followed these stages of compilation

1- I installed a toolchain

2. tar xvzf uClinux-dist-XXXXXXXX.tar.gz (Full Distribution Source)

3. Cd into the tree source: Cd uClinux-dist

4. make xconfig

5. make dep

6. Build the image : make

it is just or not,

Ca misses a stage or not,
what think of this method ?

and according to you is that there is another more powerful method, because i
found another one like GETTING STARTED

http://www.uclinux.org/get_started/

what do I have to make after compilation?

Is what I pass to simulation ...? or what?

and thank you in advance for your interessante and precieuse assistance.
