I haven't seen any mention.
I'm curious because I don't have a full understanding of that part of
the kernel - I just wanted to make it work.
I was hoping someone with more knowledge would chime in and say
A) thanks, it worked for me
B) good job, we'll put it in
C) You have no idea what you're doing. You have no business posting
patches.
D) a better solution would be <foo>
