Hi,
I am working on coldfire-5250 based board (the reference board from
Freescale).
Unfortunately the Network-port on my board is dead.
I want to use GDB-server through ttyS0 on the board.
Same is also being used as I/O console (by default).
I am using uClinux on the board.
PROBLEM:
When I try to initiate the gdb session with "gdb-server /dev/ttyS0
app.out" the terminal hangs.
Can some one suggest me what is going wrong?
(a) Has some one tried this before?
(b) Is the problem because I am also using ttyS0 as I/O console or
some thing else?
Any pointers will eb helpful for me.
