I can only confirm your findings. The 'hard' cases work as well, i.e.
debugging pthreaded apps and C++ apps.
That's very good, I've had experiences with many embedded systems where
there were problems with pthread debugging (nios2, at91sam with real linux),
but now on M5272 with codesourcery it just works!!

Thanks a LOT for pointing out the existence of CS provided gdbserver. Too
simple to be true...
