If you are using NIOS, you should switch to the NIOS groups:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and http://forum.niosforum.com/forum/
You seem to try to use the Altera tools. Same are not appropriate to do
any work for NIOS Linux.

You do need a Linux PC to compile Linux for the NIOS.
