The 2.4 code I inherited, only uses one of the erase block sizes, so
detection is not an issue. The problems I am seeing are related to the
new checks for DQ5 being high after an erase / write cycle. This is not
supported on the SST part, and I have removed them. Further, the
39VF640x parts have a slightly different command set.
From the perspective of pushing the code back upstream, what is the
best way to handle the differences in parts? Or does anyone care?
