Without more details (which architecture/board, how Linux/uClinux boots
on it), I would probably guess you would need to generate a new ROMfs
with whatever you need. GTK+ is a biggie, though, with lots of
dependencies (which would add a lot to your ROMfs size, which can cause
additional issues depending on your arch), so if you are new to uClinux,
I would suggest trying something simpler first.

Hi Ulisses,

The board is running on ARM7. I'm new to uclinux. From the contents in the SD
card, i guess it is using U-Boot as a bootloader? (Correct me if i'm wrong)
Yes i would like to try with a much simpler package, says ncurses library? It
is possible to provide me some hint to start on?

Thanks.

Subject: How to install extra package

Hi Guys,

Need some helps and advice.
I just purchased an embedded board with SD card, running on uclinux
I found few files inside the SD card, which are
1. linux.bin
2. romfs.bin
3.u-boot.bin

I would like to install extra pakcage inside the SD card for example GTK+.
Whats the recommended steps or instruction to do so.

Thanks in advance.
