Thank you very much for the help and I was able to get the binary to build with the applied patches.
Now I'm trying to run the application on the target. Using make menuconfig, I selected "sshd" in the networking applications option. I wasn't sure if I needed to select anything else, but I have the sshd binary in my /bin directory. I'm trying to find the documentation that explains how to configure and run it. I've been searching the web and I haven't been successful yet.
