I think i can do any app using cgi only, for embedded. Your problem is how to parse the name and value out, and, then, writing some simple app is so easy. Why fastcgi is needed?

For normal CGI I successfully use boa as a web server. Does boa support FCGI (I did not find any notice of that) If boa does not support FCGI, what other light weight web server can be used for FCGI ? I found a notice that Lighttpd might be usable. Did anybody use same on uClinux-dist ? -Michael ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Wed, 6 Jan 2010 17:52:29 +0100 From: "Martin Mensch" <martin.men...@gmx.de> Subject: [uClinux-dev] newbie questions To: <uclinux-dev@uclinux.org> Message-ID: <80e4a47cb149434b81e88ecbb621f...@martinpc3> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original Hello, I am interested in using uCLinux and now there are a number of question I couldn't find an answer for on uclinux.org: - how much is the footprint in Flash and RAM for an ARM7TDMI or a PIC32? Is there any chance to do it with a single chip micro using only internal flash and RAM (as far as I know uCs are available up to 512kB flash and 100k RAM) - Will the OS and application program run from flash or will everything first be copied to RAM? - I am only using Windows (XP) and there is no experience with Linux on a desktop. Can I start with uCLinux anyway and what will I need for it? Thank you for any help Martin ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ uClinux-dev mailing list uClinux-dev@uclinux.org http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/listinfo/uclinux-dev This message was resent by uclinux-dev@uclinux.org To unsubscribe see: http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/options/uclinux-dev End of uClinux-dev Digest, Vol 81, Issue 5 ****************************************** _______________________________________________ uClinux-dev mailing list uClinux-dev@uclinux.org http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/listinfo/uclinux-dev This message was resent by uclinux-dev@uclinux.org To unsubscribe see: http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/options/uclinux-dev
