Thanks for the replies. David is correct, the architecture is not "yet" main lined. It is based on Ubicom's multi-threaded ISA.
We are using: 1) strace-4.5.19 2) linux-2.6.28 3) The application I am trying to trace is a combination of rygel, vlc, alsa, dbus but I don't think their specific versions are relevant. 4) We did the port of ptrace and it is working for GDB but strace -f or -F hangs. When I get a chance, I will dive in further and see if I can determine the root cause of the problem. I appreciate everyone's support.
