Thanks for the info about the evolution of the kernel directory structure. I'll try the Soekris/net4801 setup. If it's a more-or-less standard x86 architecture, I think it should just be able to use it's uClibc config as a starting point and go from there.
Yep.
When you regression test that board, do you use the same i386-linux- toolchain that's on the Snapgear site, or is there a better and/or newer one that I should think about trying?
I use the i386-linux-20070808 toolchain from that site. http://ftp.snapgear.org/pub/snapgear/tools/i386-linux/i386-linux-tools-20070808.tar.gz For all modern builds. (I know the front page link is to the 20030930 tool chain. I have asked the web site admin to change this several times to the newer tool chain, and so far he hasn't :-( Regards Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Greg Ungerer -- Principal Engineer EMAIL: g...@snapgear.com SnapGear Group, McAfee PHONE: +61 7 3435 2888 8 Gardner Close FAX: +61 7 3217 5323 Milton, QLD, 4064, Australia WEB: http://www.SnapGear.com _______________________________________________ uClinux-dev mailing list uClinux-dev@uclinux.org http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/listinfo/uclinux-dev This message was resent by uclinux-dev@uclinux.org To unsubscribe see: http://mailman.uclinux.org/mailman/options/uclinux-dev
