Hi Philippe,
the best solution for me is to recompile dBug.
I just asked to my customer to get the Metrowerks compiler...
I hope that I'll be able to recompile and download dBug in a little time.
Reconfiguring ram at run time is a difficult issue and I think that it's
too expensive in terms of development time.
Thank you very much!

Hi,
I've made some tests to understand better the base mechanism of ram
configuration.
Unfortunately, I found that uClinux uses the ram initializations of dBug
bootloader.
The kernel sees that the ram is already initialized, so it does not
reinitialize it.
For me this is a problem, because I cannot recompile and flash dBug.
Have you asked Sentec ?
So the only way to have 32MB working instead of 16, is to reconfigure the
sdram controller.
uClinux doesn't do that automatically... Does anyone know how to do this?
I tried simply to rewrite the sdram controller registers of the Coldfire
processor, but
this action blocks the execution of the kernel. It freezes all.
That's normal. You may not use your dram when reprogramming the sdram
controller. Try to execute from flash or sram (and without any access to
ram for e.g. local variables and subroutines).
Best regards
Philippe
