While this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING do with µClinux itself... try running
"nslookup <your µClinux IP address>" from the system which is performing the
scans and check the returned hostname. If it can't resolve the reverse DNS
of µClinux, then it won't show up in your scan results. To fix it, add the
appropriate entries to your DNS server.

    I am scanning my network through colasoft mac scanner tool. all
the device are displaying in the mac scanner tool except the uclinux
system. it is showing only the ip address and mac address not the
hostname.
   For your info we are using linux dns server.
   What should be done to display uclinux in the mac scaneer tool with
hostname.
