Title: Message
Hi!
Thanks
for you replies on this problem.
I
tried both of these suggestions but now get the error
messages:
svn:
PROPFIND request failed on '/udig/trunk' svn: PROPFIND of '/udig/trunk':
could not connect to server (http://svn.geotools.org)
or
with the other line I get:
Basically the same error.
Any
other suggestions?
There
are no special ports I need to ask my network people to open or
anything?
Michelle
Sometime the network gets confused you can do
1 of 2 things.
If you are in windows you can add
64.40.100.236 svn.geotools.org
to your hosts file in c:\windows\system32\drivers directory.
or you can run
in your check out directory.
gtsvn.refractions.net is an alias for svn.geotools.net

Hi!
I
have tried several times myself to get the source code as I thought it would
help me learn the API and write my plugin code more quickly to see actual
code.
But when I run that line I get the following
error:
svn: PROPFIND request
failed on '/udig/trunk' svn: PROPFIND of '/udig/trunk': Could not resolve
hostname `svn.geotools.org': T he requested name is valid and was found
in the database, but it does not have t he correct associated data being
resolved for. (http://svn.geotools.org)
Is
this a problem to do with me being on the Open University
network?
Do
I need to ask IT to do something with firewalls or
ports?
Thanks
Michelle
You don't need a
username/password to get the code, only to commit to it. Simply issue the
command
svn co http://svn.geotools.org/udig/trunk/ to
get the current development source.
