I have to develop an small application for fleet tracking, it does not have to be real time, the user will load a file with the position/times of the vehicles, and will want to display them on a map and make some simple queries based on times, type of vehicle, etc
has anybody develop/came acroos something similar using Udig? is Udig an appropiate framework for such a task? any other open source project you know would me more approppiate?
I have experience with the Eclipse framework, but not much with GIS apps, so thank you very much for your help
