This schedule is "ongoing", I provided a warning a couple weeks ago when I started the work, and again in this weeks GeoTools meeting - when it looked like the end was in sight. At the same time I asked if we could release a GeoTools 9.0-M0 for our uDig 1.3.3 release. > Same here, when is the schedule set? > > > Two answers: GeoTools answer - need it to happen right away so the massive pull request does not go stale. Idea is to release 9.0-M0 when this work is finished (to make sure the resulting GeoTools is releasable). uDig answer - we really should release uDig 1.3.3 right away (before GeoTools changes get in our way). And a question: So what way do you want to do this? a) Release uDig tomorrow? And I can make GeoTools 9.0-M0 "before" the feature collection cleanup? This allows us to stay fixed on 9.0-M0 while we do a feature collection clean up for uDig. b) Assemble our uDig pull pronto - and make 1.3.3 include the feature collection cleanup Notes: - I am very confident on the QA of the GeoTools work, lots of tests cases - The uDig codebase has 66 errors when I switch it to use the new jars, I think I could be done in 1-2 hours > It will be quite some work and I have also the whole jgrasstools library to > take care of to get the Spatial Toolbox going. > Also, if you want a one big pull request, then one single developer will have > to take care about this? > > > We can make use of a branch to collaborate, indeed I will push up my work thus far: > What are your evil plans? :) > > > Find a volunteer to update the headers for the license change (since I have not gotten back to it - and we should do it for the 1.3.3 release).
