Result of todays work
> We have tested 5/6 environments - here is what was left:
> - linux32

I was successful in testing win32
I also updated the NSIS installer with branding information (including a very
blank splash screen)

> We have tested 4/5 guides - here is what was left:
> - walkthrough 2

I was successful in testing walkthrough 1:
- OpenGeo demo server had been reconfigured without a title (making uDig look
broken). I have reported to David Winslow so OpenGeo are aware.
> DnD into Layers view does not add Layer when Service already registered in
> Catalog (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1976)
> - It sounds like this DnD bug that was annoying me so much had been
> previously encountered by Moovida / Silvia. I was only able to reproduce it
> on Windows 7, frank was able to test on number of platforms (including
> Windows) and was not able to reproduce.

- frank was now able to reproduce this when testing from installer (i.e. not
from eclipse)
- I confirmed the issue also applies to web services (not only files)

> Point layers are visualized always with grey squares instead of random colour
> (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1973)
> - chased this into the SLDContent.createDefaultStyle method, needs a run
> through with the debugger to determine cause

Frank has applied a fix.
> Delete Map from the Project View will corrupt the other Maps
> (https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1974) BLOCKER
> - was considered a blocker on IRC last night
> - problem isolated to the Delete class (An action responsible for removing
> EMF Items including Map)
> - workaround was to "uncheck" the delete files option when deleting a map
> - temporary "hack" was to remove the checkbox and default to not deleting
> files when deleting a map

Fix has been applied, no word if it teased okay
