Description:

Layer names are trimmed wrong.
This was introduced (not sure by whom) at some point, I assume to remove the underscores from the file names.
I have long wanted to complain about that (the name should stay the name of the file in my opinion), but now it is also giving troubles for other cases.
For example a shop named: localmax_3.0_1.5.shp
Is visualized in the layer view as: localmax_3
So I am assuming that apart of the underscores also the dot is trimmed.
I guess the fix is simple for the one who did the change, just a index of last dot instead of indexOf.
