from the doc: Using "DeleteNoServer no" ------------------------- The second way to change default behavour is to use "DeleteNoServer no" command. This command means that URLs which are already in database will not be deleted even if they have no correspondent Server/Realm command. "DeleteNoServer no" is implemented by adding one empty server just like "Follow world". The difference between those two commands is that in case of "DeleteNoServer no" indexer follows links ONLY INSIDE servers and does not jump between different servers. This allows to index only those servers which are already in database and do not follow other servers. ---cut--- it seems to say that if you have "DeleteNoServer no", when re-indexing, indexer will follow links on that page as long as it stays on that server. is this the default? shouldn't it use the default "Follow XXXX" command instead? it seems to be assuming "Follow server" which doesn't make sense. i think "Follow path" would make more sense. let me give you an example. say i have the url in my db: http://members.aol.com/somecluelessperson/ but no Server command associated. I also have "DeleteNoServer no" set. i only want to index that persons's web pages. if according to the docs here, if that person have a link back to members.aol.com, indexer would follow and index all of members.aol.com. __________________________________________________ Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
