I think that the install will have this functionality if it does not 
already - I will check.

Im not sure if you are suggesting to host the dsc and diff.gz files or 
if you want to integrate the content into a debian directory within your 
VCS. If it is the former, I'm all for it as I don't want to host the 
files semi-permanently. If it is the latter, I'd prefer if you didn't as 
it is best-practice not to release upstream projects with the debian 
subdirectory/packaging information.

I'd be happy to help with packaging the drivers and getting them into 
Debian if possible.
