How European :-) It's of no consequence, but I suspect that it was me
who intentionally put two spaces after sentence-ending punctuation.  I
realize this is both a US/UK vs continental style choice and also an
old-school ASCII (and tex source) vs "modern" GUI editor typical
preference.
