Excellent. I just checked CVS, and have some comments...

The current location where the number of lines can be set is a bit odd
(the options dialog). 

In my opinion the crop tab would be a much more logical place for this,
since, this is where crop and rotation settings are made. The lines are
mainly a helper during cropping, it might be helpful to adjust the
number of lines during cropping, without having to go through a dialog.

Also, currently the lines are black, maybe a GIMP like approach would be
better suited. I'm not exactly what it is what GIMP does with this
lines, but I'm guessing it's inverting the colors.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
