Just numbered buttons?
I've thought about this. Initially it was P1..P4 but now the buttons are simply numbered from 1 to 6. Why? because there is not much room under the preview window for any other descriptive text on the buttons. If necessary then we could put a descriptive text in the button tooltip. > > I'm wondering whether a dropdownbox with named presets is more > convenient. There are too many clicks involved if one wants to try out a couple of presets before deciding which is the best fit to resume with. programming and loading a preset happens with the same button now and the button reflects whether it is free or not. But it is better to see it yourself. preset data is kept in $HOME/.ufraw/<n>.ufraw in order not to clutter up the users home directory. The .ufraw directory might be useful for other things too such as camera profiles. The three patches I sent are completely independent so it should be easy to try out this one. -- Frank ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
