I'm not sure if this is the right mailing list for my issue. I originally dealt with this problem on the Gimp mailing list, but it turns out the problem might be with UFraw.
When I open a DNG file using UFraw 0.15 (and subsequently Gimp 2.6.8), most of the EXIF data seems to disappear. This is in openSUSE 11.2. Here's the relevant email from the Gimp mailing list: On Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 5:07 PM, Patrick Shanahan <ptilopt...@gmail.com> wrote: > You should contact the author of UFraw, Udi > Fuchs <udifu...@gmail.com>, and advise him that their is corruption, > perhaps a data overflow, when converting the exif information from dng > files from your Pentax K-7 to jpg's. I'd appreciate any help. Right now, I have hundreds of pictures with practically no EXIF data, which is really aggravating. -- Frank Gore Project Manager www.projectpontiac.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ ufraw-devel mailing list ufraw-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ufraw-devel
