I'm a bit confused about the "Display ICC profile" setting on the
"Color management" tab and its effect on the "Live histogram" at the
bottom of the screen. I was under the impression that the histogram
reflects the output that's going to be saved (the file output), while
the "Display ICC profile" only changes how UFraw displays the image to
account for my monitor's colour space (ie. colour translation).

Is this incorrect?
