Hi, The Nikon 1 V1 and Nikon 1 J1 likely use an identical sensor. That idea is confirmed by the fact they were launched shortly after one another and they use the same color matrix via DCRaw.
That said, UFRaw has white balance presets for the V1, and in theory they should be just as valid for the J1. I quickly tested that with an image or two, and at least daylight seems fine. So for the time being I would propose to copy the V1 presets for the J1 (noting this in comments), so users can benefit from these as long as there aren't any actual submissions for the J1 particularly.
