Even lighter weight, I have my display .icm file that I made with my
ColorMunki while booted into Windows and I have xcalib load it from my
xinitrc file.

My printer's on a Windows box and the printer driver loads the .icm
file for that so it's independent of what software I use. Something
under Windows loads the display .icm file there, I forget what.

I don't regret buying the ColorMunki but in retrospect renting one for
a week would have been adequate. At least until something dies and I
need to calibrate a replacement. But that includes toner cartridges
for my laser printer. So software couldn't do the trick by itself, I
needed to bootstrap calibrated hardware. I forget what this
ColorMunki is called but it does displays and printers. And comes
with a colorchecker/Macbeth card which can work with scanners and
cameras.

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
