I've been trying to figure this out by looking at the code. I understand what happens when you do NOT set optproto in vfsdef_v3. This sets the generic mount options in vfs->flags.
What I don't understand is what happens when you specify your own prototype mount options table. Then it doesn't recognize the generic options anymore? I'm really confused about the behavior of domount. I'm not sure the comments match the code. Anybody have any insight into this?
