Alex,

Are you trying to find out how to resize a partition?  Or to
grow a UFS file system?

For the latter, do a 'man growfs'.

If you're trying to resize a partition, that depends...

On a single disk, you could use format(1M), assuming you have
extra space to grow into *after* the current partition.

If you're on a Solaris Volume Manager (soft) partition, then
I'm not sure (though someone on this list may know).
