What are the implications? The mount_ufs man page does not state any correlations and/or ill effects when the two are used in conjunction.
Should one be using logging when using forcedirectio? Will or can logging in conjunction with forcedirectio cause performance degradations? Can filesystem consistency be negatively affected (powerloss, crash: FS out of sync, damaged) when all logging is turned off and forcedirectio is in effect?
