Hi Victor, I want to say something other than opensolaris, and I wish you be interested.
I have been learning Java off and on since 2003, and now cannot help reaching a conclusion that Sun's localization process of Java as well as opensolaris is not so well down in China. Well, there are several noticeable Java forums or something like, however, each takes its own course, making Java technology discrete rather than integrated. There is no big Chinese site like Sun Developer Network and opensolaris.org, taking the leadership. I suppose absence of such a big site makes lots of java-ers lost and ultimately their java career come to an untimely end. gceclub.sun.com.cn declares its emergence, however, it's forum including both java and solaris is not concerned, the site itself not so authoritative and updated as expected. I suppose everything is all the same. I wonder if Sun China interested in intiating a freebsd.org.cn-like site for java and/or solaris, Cernet-availabe preferred. Anyway, those periodical sessions make me excited, both in Java and opensolaris. Regards, Jerry 2005/11/23, Victor Hu <Victor.Hu at sun.com>: > Hi Jerry, > > That's true.
