Upon getting through to the organizers, got to know that our very own Moinak is presenting here! Supposedly being organised by ACM (announcement expected here as well). That reminds me, there are a few active (& diverse) forums such as the bangalore chapters of IEEE, IETE, etc. (Expect some of these to be more formal & sobre orgs :) A talk or two on areas of mutual interest can be thought of. For ex: I see from networking communities work that OpenSolaris can have inbuilt sctp support, IPsec implementation, IPv6 has been there. Should be of interest amongst the IETE crowd. IEEE chapter has computers & communications society audience (might be a little niche) of which might be interested in some of the OS related topics. The one positive thing here is that almost the entire audience will be new faces. -Shiv
