recently i had downloaded Kubuntu 9.04 ISO sporting the latest KDE 4.2, but not having any blank CDs at home , i checked up google for a possible solution. for ubuntu it mentioned to create a folder under / and extract vmlinuz and initrd.gz into it and create a grub entry like root (hdX,X) kernel /folder/vmlinuz initrd /folder/initrd.gz
and it did not work i figured out that some other kernel options must be given. If such a thing is to be done for BELENIX how do i go about doing it ? regards -- Kunal Ghosh BE 4th semester Dept of Computer Sc. & Engineering.
