Then do this: in terminal, you type: # ossxmix
This will bring up the OSS mixing window There you select mute on Speaker i guess... Can you print shot so that i can tell you which is the option? our you try to figure it out.. It is not that easy I dont exactly remember and I cannot exactly say where it is coz my gnome is screwed and i need to do something to fix that.
