Why don't you wait for 0.8 of Belenix ? That should be some time soon. I can get a 0.7, but that gave me problems of jiggering the partition table (? Caiman installer issue), or maybe my crazy partitioning which may have had something to do with it. The Belenix 0.7 caused problems but 2008.5 installed fine. I have XP, SuSE 11, FreeBSD and 2008.5 coexisting peacefully on the same hard disk, on own partitions, all bootable through Linux GRUB.
