A little grok of the source says this error message comes from GRUB. Thats
slightly better because zfs_mounroot leading to this message will be very
bad news !

There are a few conditions in

http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/onnv/onnv-gate/usr/src/grub/grub-0.95/stage2/fsys_zfs.c

that cause ERR_FSYS_CORRUPT to be returned. To my untrained eye it appears
all of them are in cases where the Merkle Tree seems to be corrupt in some
way.

You might want to boot using belenix and do a zpool import to see if its
just GRUB or if you ran into a ZFS bug.
