Hello, This is an invitation to the Bangalore Open Solaris User Group to join the Internet Society India Chennai Chapter, chartered recently.
This fits in as a pleasant distraction to all those who "make the net work". This opportunity is a bit broader. It is making the network of networks work. It works, but you are invited to make it work better. The Internet Society (ISOC) develops the fundamental technical characteristics of the Internet together which organizes and supports the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the Internet Architecture Board (IAB), the Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG), the Internet Research Steering Group (IRSG), the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF), and the RFC Editor (which publishes the Internet Standards and other Internet documents). ISOC has chapters around the world and in India there are two chapters. The India Chennai chapter is to have alternate meetings in Chennai and Bangalore and has members from the southern states. Please go through the attached PDF as also www.isoc.org. There is no subscription requirement to join ISOC. To join ISOC go to https://members.isoc.org/PortalTools/NewUser/Index.cfm and after filling up the form go on to join a chapter and choose India Chennai Chapter.
