I'm having a few problems getting the o/p to projector. The display is sometimes one half of the screen, or feels like it has been pushed halfway top and right and the image has spilled over from below. I see a new effect every time I restart X. The problem is present when booting both from Solaris Express or BeleniX. Any workarounds?? A customised xorg.conf file perhaps? There was another problem with the keyboard on one of the PCs with solaris express build 50. The keyboard was working fine except for a few keys.. where shift-3 converted to a '?' rather than '#' .. this makes it very hard to write a C program. Why is this occuring and workarounds? Keyboard locale issue? I also take this opportunity to invite all students on the list to take part in the various events.
