This looks like a repeat of an old problem. Just try installing in text mode. Text mode is available if you select Solaris Express in the Grub screen rather than SXDE. Text mode is also faster. BTW you are better off with B69. B68 has a Gnome bug that causes garbled characters in gnome-terminal. Regards, Moinak.
