   It won't be too difficult to implement it using the prtpart utility 
in BeleniX
   combined with the basic filesystem reading code from Grub. We'd have
   an utility that can grovel through disk partitions and build up menu.lst
   entries.

   This can for eg. be a good candidate to go into the Indiana installer and
   eventually into Nevada.
   I had the intent of implementing this in prtpart for a while now.
