Hi Rama, This should help:
#1. In JDS/CDE/GNOME login screen: Select Options -> Langauges -> en_US (US English) Or any other language of your choice Or #2. Append "LANG=en_US" Or "LANG=<any_language_of_your_choice>" to /etc/default/init, and restart the system once. - You can check the installed locales under /usr/lib/locale directory. - Read the man page of "init" for more information about /etc/default/init and LANG env variable I got this out of http://forum.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=29099 Regards, Moinak. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rama Krishna <ramaakrish...@gmail.com> Date: Wednesday, March 1, 2006 7:17 pm Subject: [ug-bosug] Changing the language of text from Hindi to English in solaris 10 To: ug-bosug at opensolaris.org > Hi, > I installed solaris 10 in my system but during the installation i > actually selected Hindi as my local language.
