Hi Rama,

   This should help:

#1. In JDS/CDE/GNOME login screen:
Select Options -> Langauges -> en_US (US English) Or any other language of your 
choice

Or

#2. Append "LANG=en_US" Or "LANG=<any_language_of_your_choice>" to 
/etc/default/init, and restart the system once.

- You can check the installed locales under /usr/lib/locale directory.
- Read the man page of "init" for more information about /etc/default/init and 
LANG env variable
