On my laptop (celeron 1.4MHz, 256MB)
Belenix liveCD takes 5 min 15 secs to show the desktop (comparable to
ubuntu's startup time)
Solaris Express takes 1 min 40 secs (to show GUI login screen).

Can't comment about the Belenix HD installation since I don't have one right
now.

(As a side note, moinak had mentioned that the open solaris need 2hrs to be
built on the ferrari laptop. On my laptop it took 5 hrs).
