Same questions. More details will help - does GRUB screen come up ? What messages are you seeing on the console ? The agent that was hired to print the CDs did a really bad job. Many CDs turned out bad and had problems. I believe you are having a bad CD. Can you try downloading the image yourself - you will get the previous version however. Or you can show up at the next Bosug meet to get the latest version on a good CD.
