I would suggest, you try solaris express or Belenix. From what I know, there are quite a bag of issues with solaris 10 on custom boxes. The driver list on solaris 10 is way too low when compared to what is there on the belenix CD or solaris express. Moinak should be able to tell you about how to install from the belenix CD. That would be another option.
