Buongiorno a tutti, Premetto che mi sono avvicinato ad OpenSolaris/Solaris per curiosità e che attualmente non ho competenze per quanto riguarda il licensing.
Ho dato un occhiata alle FAQ su Oracle Solaris 11 Express e la risposta alla domanda "2-Why should I be using Oracle Solaris 11 Express?" è la seguente: "[cut] Oracle Solaris 11 Express is a great opportunity for administrators and early adopters to test these new features and deploy the operating system with full production support from Oracle, and for developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to certify their applications in time for Oracle Solaris 11. [cut]" Inoltre, per quanto riguarda il licensing: "14-Can I use Oracle Solaris 11 Express without a support contract?" "Yes, you may use Oracle Solaris 11 Express for evaluation and development without a support contract under the Oracle Technical Network perpetual license." Andrea, dove si trova la frase hai citato ? "You may not: - use the Programs for your own internal business purposes (other than developing, testing, prototyping and demonstrating your applications) or for any commercial or production purposes;" In alte parole mi chiedo come posso utilizzare Solaris 11 Express, ad esempio posso proporre soluzioni basate su questo sistema operativo senza sottoscrivere una licenza con Oracle ?
