Phil Harman: 'Virtualisation Fever - Where do you draw the line?'
=================================================================
Whimsical insights on the history and future of virtualisation
technologies, including, but not limited to: the UNIX process, p-code,
NeWS, JavaVM, sun4v, Solaris Zones, ZFS, VMware, KVM, Citrix et al,
cloud computing, and more than a passing nod to the BBC Micro and
Oracle's Exadata Database Machine.

Phil Harman is a freelance consultant with more than 20 years
experience as an inventor, engineer and technology evangelist at Sun
Microsystems. Some of his code survives to this day in the Solaris
kernel and libraries. This talk promises to be informative and fun.

Event details and registration details can be found at http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/User+Group+losug/Events

If you have any questions about this event or you wish to give a talk and receive a free shirt, just drop us a line at [email protected]
